Fantastic friendly service. Proprietors went the extra mile to accommodate my need for mobility scooter access even providing easy access to charging. Excellent breakfast with quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Great value for money.

Went in here for lunch with my friend. She had scampi n chips. I had baked Tattie n beans and cheese. Both dishes were very good. The service was excellent. Would go back here again.

Booked last minute; great value for money. The room was spacious and lots of extras in it. Centre of town, free parking and a very good restaurant with good bar. I’d cone again and wish we’d booked for longer. Staff helpful and pleasant. A great find!

Review is of the bar and beer garden. It's a pub. A friendly pub with plenty of space inside and in the beer garden to the rear. Tasty beer at a very reasonable price served by friendly staff. I didn't have any complaints. The kind of bar you could happily visit again and again to relax and have a quiet pint. It's the kind of pub that disappearing as more and more wetherspoon type places stake over.
